Condition: Insomnia •  Dysfunction of Stomach
Treatment: Strengthen Spleen and Stomach, improve digestion, clear Damp phlegm.
Description: Poor sleep disturbed by dreams, feverish sensation in the chest, distention or distending pain in the epigastrium and abdomen, occasional nausea or vomiting, belching, acid regurgitation, difficult defecation, yellow greasy tongue coating, slippery or wiry pulse.
Comment: P6 for nausea and stomach pain, LI4 for dizziness.

Point Selection:
CV12 • Zhon Guan • In the upper umbilical region, on the anterior midline, 4 cun superior to the umbilicus.
Central Venter. Front Mu Point of the Stomach that connects with Back Shu BL21. Meeting Point on the Conception Vessel with the Lung, Spleen, Stomach, and Triple Energizer Channels.
Explanation: Regulates Stomach, improve digestion, clear Damp phlegm.

HE7 • Shen Men • On the transverse wrist crease, in the small depression between the pisiform and ulna bones.
Spirit Gate. Shu Stream Point on the Heart Channel. Yuan Source Point on the Heart Channel. Earth Point on Fire Meridian.
Explanation: Calms the mind.

SP1 • Yin Bai • On the medial great toe, .01 cun from the corner of the nail bed.
Hidden White. Jing Well Point on the Spleen Channel. Wood Point on Earth Meridian.
Explanation: Sedative.

ST36 • Zu San Li • On the leg, one finger breadth lateral to the tibia's anterior crest, 3 cun inferior to ST 35 in the depression to the lateral side of the patella.
Leg Three Li. He Sea Point on the Stomach Channel. Special Command Point for the Abdomen. Earth Point on the Earth Meridian.
Explanation: Regulates Stomach, improve digestion, clear Damp phlegm.

ST40 • Feng Long • On the leg, one cun lateral to ST 38 at the midpoint of a line between ST 35 at the lateral patella and the lateral malleolus.
Bountiful Bulge. Luo Connecting Point on the Stomach Channel to SP3.

ST45 • Li Dui • On the lateral side of the second toe, 0.1 cun from the corner of the nail bed.
Severe Mouth. Jing Well Point on the Stomach Channel. Metal Point on Earch Meridian.
Explanation: Sedative.
